Gifts of endowment, more than any other form of support, enable wise and flexible use of resources to meet ongoing needs while providing for new initiatives.

The Foundation's current spending limit for an endowed fund is 5.25 percent of the assets.

In addition, the Foundation assesses a management fee equal to 1 percent of the fund's principal balance.

Investment income in excess of 6.25 percent is added to the fund principal to ensure growth and provide protection against inflation.

The Foundation maintains an investment strategy aimed at balancing dynamic growth and stability.
