CSMAA promotes Mines' rich tradition of excellence by fostering and strengthening connections between CSM alumni and the Mines community.

  • A subscription to MINES, the alumni magazine. Read all about Mines news, department updates, and your classmates.

  • More than 40 programs planned for enjoyment over 4 days for Reunion festivities (mark May 9-12, ’07 for the first ever “neighboring class reunion” and department reunion!)

  • Coordinate travel-study trips for alumni at the Grand Canyon, Canadian Rockies, etc.

  • Plan annual E-Days ’Round the World event in nearly 50 sections throughout the world (mark 4/03/08 for the third annual event!)
  • Plan many section events and visits for Mines President Scoggins
  • Recognize outstanding alumni for selective CSMAA awards
  • Participate in over 50 section events & activities world-wide

Student-based Programs and Services

  • More than $30,000 in legacy grants distributed to children or grandchildren of sustaining CSMAA members
  • $15,000 in field session grants distributed to students in need
  • Match dozens of student “mentees” with alumni mentors
  • Host 2 parties and graduation banquets per year (500 guests) and honor students’ favorite faculty members
  • Host more than 300 freshman and family members on Move-In Day at annual picnic
  • Coordinate 2 Order of the Engineer ceremonies for students and alumni

CSMAA campus-based Efforts

  • Award up to 2 $2,500 Alumni Teaching Awards per year
  • Participate on Mines Award Committee for honorary degrees and medalists
  • Serve as valued partner of the Colorado School of Mines in its efforts to sustain excellence

Services Those of you who surf the web now have access to the whereabouts of your classmates online.

Once you are a CSMAA member you will be issued a confidential password and will have access to the full version of the directory on the web.

The directory is searchable in a variety of ways including last name, country, city, maiden name, and others.
