Since coming to Mines, President Bickart has responded to those concerns by making a
concerted effort to meet with each faculty member individually, in groups, in departments,
and in his and Frani’s home.
This and other actions have suggested that he believes that the faculty has an important
role to play in the governance of Mines.
We have the confidence that President Bickart has the strong leadership to strengthen the
