Heritage Society

Since its establishment in 1874, Colorado School of Mines has been sustained by the enduring vision of its founders, the hard work and ingenuity of its students, and the generosity of its benefactors.

These elements have created a tradition of excellence that is now the heritage of every new generation of students.

Many in the Mines community¾alumni and friends, faculty and staff¾have committed themselves to preserving this heritage by investing in the future of the School.

These individuals have chosen to include Mines in their estate plans through bequests or other deferred gift arrangements.

Through membership in the Mines Heritage Society, we acknowledge their foresight and dedication.

Bequests

Bequests serve as a link between past and future.

By effecting a final distribution of property accumulated over a lifetime, bequest provisions connect our personal history with our hopes for the future.

They also provide a flexible planning tool for meeting the needs of loved ones and making choices that fulfill personal wishes.

Bequests to Mines may be directed to "the Colorado School of Mines Foundation, Incorporated, of Golden, Colorado" for a variety of purposes.
