Housing

Living on campus offers plenty of advantages. Golden is a beautiful town. the campus is quiet and safe (safety statistics are available on the Web at www.mines.edu/all_about/safety/pages/statistics.html). You're 25 minutes from Boulder or downtown Denver. And if you're on campus, it's a quick dash to that 8 a.m. class.

Freshman live in all our housing facilities, and the good news is that we've been busy with renovation and new construction. Morgan, Thomas, Bradford, and Randall, our traditional residence halls, have recently been renovated with new bathrooms, carpets, windows, and heating and cooling. And Mines Park is a brand-new, apartment-style housing facility that recently has been doubled in size. And if suite-style living with a group of students suits you, consider Weaver Towers.

Beyond housing, we're installing a One Card System™ that will give you safe, keyless entry to dorms while also serving as your debit card for food service, the bookstore, and the laundry facilities.
